Romana Sivac

Chef Romana has been working in the food industry as a private chef for many years. This was where she excelled and honed her skills, which she uses today, setting up beautiful tables and elegant arrangements as background to her dishes. Romana started cooking after high school and later on with her husband Chef Alen. After arriving is USA, they started their own business; The SivacCatering was opened in their own kitchen to start. She prepares delicious and healthy dishes for families, clients and party guests. Romana enjoys cooking for family and friends her favorite dishes like pastas, dumplings, meats and seafood. Romana grew up in Dubrovnik, city located in southern part of Croatia, famous tourist destination, known for its natural beauties and original cuisine.

Alen Sivac

Chef Alen Sivac has been working in the food industry as a private chef, executive chef and restaurant general manager for many years. This was where he honed her skills, which he uses today, setting up beautiful tables and elegant arrangements as background to his delicious food. Alen started cooking from the early age side by side with his parents, both professional cooks. After arriving is USA, he decided to start his own business. The SivacCatering was opened in his own kitchen that he can call home to prepare delicious, healthy cuisine for families, clients and party guests. Alen enjoys when he cooks some of his favorite pastas, lasagnas, meats and seafood dishes. Alen says, “I am lucky my wife is a great cook who supports me unconditionally. I love when we can sit down after a long day for a good meal and a glass of wine”.
